Kansas City Public Transit Among Nation’s Worst in Connecting Workers to Jobs

Kansas City’s proposed streetcar expansion would link residential areas to downtown. However, a recent story by KCUR explains that jobs are being created in the suburbs – not in the city. A recent study showed than only 18% of jobs in the Kansas City metro are currently accessible by a public transit commute of less than 90 minutes.
