How to Vote

The third phase of the TDD election is a vote to fund the district. This vote is conducted by mail. Any registered voter within the Kansas City Main Street Rail Transportation Development District may vote.

November TBD, 2017 – Voters within the TDD may begin requesting ballots.

December TBD, 2017 – Request for ballots to vote in the election to fund the new TDD are due. Ballot applications and proof of voter registration MUST BE RECEIVED, not postmarked, by this date.

January TBD, 2018 – Ballots for the funding election are mailed to people who requested them.

February TBD, 2018 – Completed and notarized ballots for the funding election are due. Ballots MUST BE RECEIVED, not postmarked, by this date.

March TBD, 2018 – Court certifies the funding election results.
