It’s back: Streetcar ethics complaint refilled

streetcar_ethics.jpgCitizens for Responsible Government has filed another ethics complaint tied to the Aug. 5 election. 

According to Austin Alonzo at the Kansas City Business Journal, the group alleges misuse of taxpayer money. It filed a complaint with the Missouri Ethics Commission, citing misuse of taxpayer money by:

  • The city of Kansas City
  • The Kansas City Council
  • Mayor Sly James

The complaint cites the use of public funds to attempt to influence the Aug. 5 and Nov. 4 elections.
